The FCC’s Wireline Competition Bureau has extended the deadline for filing Comments and Reply Comments on the Universal Service Fund reform proceeding it opened late last year. For more details regarding the scope of the rulemaking proceeding, see here:

The FCC seeks comment on the effect of the IIJA on existing USF programs and the ability of the FCC to reach its goals of universal deployment, affordability, adoption, availability and equitable access to broadband throughout the United States, and on recommended courses of action the FCC and Congress should take to further promote those goals.
